John Law has been selected as the Green Party candidate to fight the by-election in the Sowerby and Topcliffe division of North Yorkshire Council. Sadly the vacancy has come about because of the ill health of Dave Whitfield who won the seat for the Green Party in 2022. We wish Dave a speedy recovery.
Voting will be on Thursday 30th November. We will be running a strong campaign and can retain the seat to support the small but significant group of Green councillors on North Yorkshire Council.
