The first meeting of this new group will take place at 7 pm on Thursday 12 March. It will be held at the Worsley Arms Hotel in Hovingham, in the Kent Room on the first floor.
The purpose of the meeting is:
- for you to share what’s important to you in enabling this region to become carbon net zero;
- to identify the strategic priorities for Ryedale.
Simon Bowens from Friends of the Earth (FoE) will be joining us to facilitate the session. The number of Climate Action Groups supported by FoE across the UK is now up to 180. If there is anyone else you know that would like to join this group, please share this link which gives a few more details and a map showing the Worsley Arms. All are welcome.
